Green Building and Remodeling in Seattle, Washington - Pathway Design & Construction

Sustainable/environmentally building education

If you are considering a remodel, expansion or new construction we will meet with you to discuss environmentally friendly building techniques and materials. By reviewing a project in advance, design choices may be enhanced with sustainable materials and healthy home building techniques of which you may not have been aware.

Environmentally friendly building resource and network developing

If you want to learn more about environmentally friendly building but would like to do the research yourself, we will provide you with available resources and provide you contact information for other leaders in the industry. We will make ourselves available for assistance in using the resources we provided and/or in contacting the other leaders in the industry. This will allow you to be properly networked within the green building community and get the information you seek.

Healthier home education

We will provide information and guidance to make your home a healthier place for you and your family. This could include suggestions for interior maintenance, exterior maintenance and system upgrades, all of which could contribute to improving the healthiness of your home.

Construction cost analysis/feasibility analysis

We will discuss your future project and provide our skills to help you decide if the project at hand will work within your budget. This can be done for a spec home or simply a remodel of your own house. In many cases a preliminary cost analysis may help in determining the ultimate scope of work that can be accomplished before the project is undertaken.

Project Design

We will work with your designer or architect to provide our construction experience in creating a design that will meet your needs and desires and work within your budget. We can also provide our knowledge and expertise to help you develop a project design or simply assist with adding different features to an already developed design. Including a contractor in the design process may save time and money down the road. There may be fewer changes due to design concepts that simply are not feasible or are too costly for the budget.
