The ECO-TREE and Green Considerations During Construction
Environmentally friendly building is similar to a tree. Each aspect or leaf contributes to continuous health; however when all the aspects are incorporated or leaves turn to full canopy, the process or tree is made whole.
The eco-tree found on this page reflects a number of the individual elements (or leaves so to speak) that should be considered during a remodel or new construction. Gaining an understanding of these leaves is a good place to start in the assessment of the healthy home and sustainable building process. Each leaf plays a key role in providing an environmentally friendly, energy efficient, sustainable dwelling. It is important, however, to understand the inter-relationship between the leaves if we are to build healthier and eco friendly dwellings.

Help Our Tree Grow
We are sure other ideas are equally important and that we could add many other leaves to this tree. If there are any leaves you believe should be added please contact us with the concept and your thoughts.
