Remodeling Big 50SEATTLE — Paul Kocharhook and his company Pathway Design & Construction are being honored with the 2015 Big50 award* issued by REMODELING magazine, a national trade publication read by more than 130,000 professional remodeling contractors.

Each year since 1986, REMODELING editors have thoroughly evaluated the best of the industry and inducted 50 owners of remodeling companies that have set exceptionally high standards for professionalism and integrity through exemplary business practices, craftsmanship, and impact in their community or the industry at large. Awardees run successful companies that have taken the lead in raising industry standards.

Kocharhook says he is humbled by joining such a select group of remodelers, especially given that he founded his company only seven years ago. He is proud to create healthy, practical and beautiful spaces for his clients, who come to him mostly by referral because of the expertise and creativity he brings to resolving indoor air quality, aging in place, accessibility and other challenges.

“Pathway fully deserves this honor,” said client Loralee DeShazor of Seattle. “Working with Paul and the Pathway team was an amazing experience. They won’t reduce quality to affect the bottom line. And they care about their customers. They get to know you and your circumstances and your family and that’s who they work for. I have recommended them many times because I want my friends taken care of by the best people possible.”

REMODELING, published by Hanley Wood, is the leading publication in the home improvement industry. It has been and continues to be the indispensable tool that remodelers cannot do without—delivering the business know-how, product and technical information that home improvement pros need to help make smart decisions that will shape their project success.

Pathway Design & Construction is a remodeling company with a focus on healthy building design and construction. The company manages projects from design to completion. Pathway has deep experience and certifications in best building practices, products and technologies, and educates trades people and consumers about healthy homes.
